Salaried bargaining claim

In September 2024, enterprise bargaining commenced for the Salaried EA (Enterprise Agreement).

By December 2024 the current PSA General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary still had not submitted a clear log of claims for members to government including the wage figure being sought.

That’s why Charlotte Watson and Celia Brougham, PSA Change candidates for General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary, stepped up. They joined the bargaining process as Official Agents under the Fair Work Act, to fight for the pay rise members need now.

Charlotte and Celia now represent hundreds of PSA members in negotiations.

Thank you to everyone who’s given authority to be represented by PSA Change.

The number one priority for members is clear – a real wage increase – and fast.

Being up-front and clear with our claim is essential.

After several meetings, on 17 April 2025, PSA Change provided the declared employer with our formal log of claims. This was developed from member feedback.

We seek an increase of up to 20% in the first twelve months of the agreement, with the first increase backdated to October 2024.

To secure the wage increase we deserve, PSA Change is needed. The PSA election is imminent.
